    Is it so that the JSDO doesn't handle read-only tables in any great way, e.g. temp-tables marked as No-before = TRUE? it handles all tables as they would have before-tables? Might be a question for Progress and not here but...
    We use read-only temp-tables for additional information and also meta-data.

    This is indeed a question where Progress' input would be valuable. You can try posting this on Progress communities and try to get Edsel' attention. 

    The way I see that is, that Progress supports specifying the use of the before image on the operation level - and that basically turns it on or off for the whole dataset, not individual temp-tables tables.

    So IMHO the only chance you have is to ensure that you're not modifying records in those read-only tables on the frontend.
