Has anyone seen the following error? It is occurring sporadically when calling InvokeTask.

    Hi Roger,

Are you seeing the error with the same request? Are there any errors in the PASOE logs?

    Hello Peter,

    I hope you are well.

It is the same request that is generating the error or so it appears. This was just reported to us last week and it took a week to actually get the client side logs from our reseller. I have seen it twice in these logs with the same call.

I have yet to receive the PASOE logs...just requested again 30 minutes ago.

    Hey Peter,

I finally received the logs folder...

This is in the local access log for that time. The same 400 error. There is nothing in the agent log file.

Just to clarify - this is a GUI application? What'S happening on the client when that error happens? Does the client receive an error or a stop condition?

Is this happening after a longer idle period, so the client making the first request after a while?

    Anything helpful from Progress tech-support?

    Hello Mike,

    >> this is a GUI application?

This is a GUI application that is running 11.7 WebClient.

    >> What'S happening on the client when that error happens

The two times that this has happened it was on the same form calling InvokeTask from the toolbar controller. This form is used to update TT records in an updateable grid and then a "Comit" tool is used to send the entire PDS to the server for processing. We are trying to determine how many records were in the TT and if it is possible a large number of records in the TT could cause this.

    >> Does the client receive an error or a stop condition?

They receive an error in an alert box (Unable to communicate with AIA. The Web Server returned an HTTP status code of 400. (9328)). I am told at that point the app is locked and they have to end task. I am trying to confirm that as the logs look to me that the app ended gracefully.

    >> Is this happening after a longer idle period, so the client making the first request after a while?

It does not appear that is the case. The user was active, and the logs show they were reviewing the records in the grid for a few minutes and then clicked the "Comit".

    >> Anything helpful from Progress tech-support?

I do have a call open with them and have provided the requested logs to them.
